Last week we talked about handy iPhone apps for everything money: tracking, managing, securing, and more. Turns out, I have so many great iPhone apps to share, we just couldn’t stop the list there!

So here are even more excellent iPhone apps to keep your business and your life in tip-top shape and moving forward in the right direction. Enjoy!

Dropbox

If you’re not working in the cloud, it’s time to realize the benefits of doing so—and Dropbox is a great place to start. This web service allows you to share your documents, photos, audios, and videos with anyone, anywhere. Convenient, right?

What I Love About Dropbox:

  • Access Dropbox anywhere: phone, computer, tablet—you name it.
  • See shared documents immediately, even on the go.
  • You can use Dropbox as a secondary backup system. (You should always back up your files in two places other than your computer, preferably offsite. I shudder to think what might happen if I lose all my hard work. Don’t risk it!)
  • Acts like just another drive on your machine.
  • I use Dropbox to send large files to my clients—it’s SO much faster and easier than using something like yousendit.com instead.

Get your FREE Dropbox app HERE or visit your app marketplace directly from your smartphone or other mobile device.

Also available for Android, iPad, Blackberry, and Kindle Fire. Free trial account for up to 2GB. Plans up to 500GB start at just $10/month.

HootSuite

Post and track your activities and interests on your favorite social media platforms. Integrates with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and more.

What I Love About HootSuite:

  • Big time saver! Helps me post on all of my social media sites, regularly.
  • Provides peace of mind because I know my posts can be scheduled to post in the future, in case I’m stuck in a meeting and unable to tweet!
  • Analytics page keeps track of your social media impact.

Also available for iPad, Android, and Blackberry. Pro plan available ($10/month) if you’d like more features.

MileBug

For 2012, the IRS is allowing a standard mileage deduction rate of 55.5 cents per mile! Don’t miss out on this easy business deduction. MileBug is perfect for small business owners who need to track mileage while driving from meeting to meeting.

What I Love About MileBug:

  • Easy to use, with built in GPS mileage tracking and recording.
  • Logs your miles as you go, so you can watch your deductions add up.
  • Calculating business miles vs. personal miles is a cinch, even if you use one vehicle for all your travel.
  • You can program frequent destinations and keep track of how many times you go to those destinations.

Full app also available for iPhone/iPod Touch ($2.99), Android ($1.99 – GPS coming soon), and Windows Phone 7 ($2.99).

Voice Memos

Voice Memos is a built-in app that comes with your iPhone. It’s a voice recorder that allows you to record audio notes—and it’s super easy to use.

What I Love About Voice Memos:

  • My phone becomes a tape recorder: all I have to do is click on the app, press a red button, and start talking. Easy!
  • Great for when a random idea pops into my head when I’m with a client, or when I’m driving—and stopped at a red light, of course!
  • Easily email audio notes to yourself or to someone else.

Voice Memos comes already installed on most iPhones and iPods. There are quite a few similar apps for iPhones and other mobile devices.
